Join us for a beautiful watercolor study inspired by California’s beloved state flower. In this guided class we will paint a vibrant cluster of California poppies while exploring the expressive and luminous qualities of watercolor.
Students will learn how to build glowing petals using layered washes, blend warm oranges and yellows, and create soft botanical foliage. We will also practice simple brush techniques to achieve loose, natural plant forms that feel light and painterly.
