Join us for a deeper dive into watercolor with this special two-part series focused on creating a beautiful, realistic succulent using professional watercolor techniques.

During Part One, we’ll transfer our sketch, mix colors, discuss pigment choices, and begin building the succulent using wet-on-wet techniques. We’ll focus on creating soft transitions, establishing values, and understanding how light and shadow help create form.

We’ll meet again the following week for Part Two, where we’ll continue layering transparent washes, refining details, increasing contrast, and adding the finishing touches that bring depth and realism to the piece.
