Join artist Gwen Pickering for an inspiring mixed media workshop that blends color, texture, and imagination. In this class, you will learn how to paint with more than just a brush, using layers of paper, collage, and paint to bring your artwork to life.
Participants will create a vibrant bird collage on canvas using a variety of materials including patterned papers, vintage sheet music, handmade textures, and paint. Gwen will guide you through techniques for layering, composition, and incorporating found materials to add personality and depth to your piece.
No prior experience is necessary, just bring your creativity and curiosity. Each project will be unique, reflecting your personal touch and color style.
