Block Printing- Botanical Theme

Join us for this beginner friendly block printing workshop. Where each month we explore a different medium or theme for the month.

The class starts with a guided warm-up on a practice block, where one becomes comfortable with the different movements and techniques used in block printing. Then we move onto the showstopper piece, where you will be provided with a block cut to the size of the surface we will be printing on that month.

For each workshop there will be a suggested theme to challenge you. If you’re not interested in the theme that month just draw and carve whatever calls to you.

Kits will be available for purchase after class if you would like to continue the practice at home.

This month the theme will be botanical and we will be printing on greeting cards.
