Join us for a relaxed, beginner-friendly Art Journal Workshop with Sacramento-based artist Maria Pascoal of Creative Joy Collective. Art journaling is a low-pressure way to try new materials, express yourself, and create pages filled with color, texture, memories, inspiration, and personal meaning.

About the event
Each month, we’ll explore a new art journaling tool, technique, or creative theme through a simple step-by-step process. You’ll be gently guided through approachable exercises designed to help you experiment, play, and build confidence in your own visual journal — no art experience needed!
Please bring your own journal to work in if you have one. If this is your first session or you don’t have a journal yet, journals will also be available for purchase in the shop.
All other materials will be provided. Come enjoy a supportive evening of creativity and connection! **This event is open to ages 10+ when attending with a paid, participating adult. Each child and adult must have their own ticket and participate in the workshop.
